Luo Xi, director of the Internet of Things and Security Research Institute of Guangzhou University Cyberspace Security Institute, gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Internet of Things Threat Analysis and Intelligent Protection under the Wide Area Perspective”, analysing the IoT attack patterns and threats launched from outside the country from the wide area perspective, so that we can better understand the protection needs from the overall situation and build a reasonable security protection system. In the context of the rapid development of AI technology, the use of intelligent algorithm identification can comprehensively and timely discover the attack threat, and realise the collaborative protection capability among IoT domains, which is crucial to national security.

Shao Xiaojing, a senior engineer at the Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Research Institute of the China Information and Communications Technology Institute (ICTI), released the “China IoT Security Label Action Plan”. The IoT Security Label Action Plan is designed to address the pain points of cybersecurity attacks faced by China’s consumer-grade IoT devices, and assigns a unique and specific security label to those devices that meet certain cybersecurity certification standards, thus ensuring that IoT is safe and secure. specific security labels, thus ensuring the security of IoT devices when accessing the network, and then put forward a set of action plans.
